No seguimento da mensagem de solidariedade endereçada à National Association of Retired Firefighters acerca do incêndio na Torre Grenfell, transcrevemos o teor do mail entretanto recebido, subscrito por Graham Holden, Presidente da nossa congénere inglesa:
Thank you for your kind message of solidarity in respect of the tragic loss of life at the recent fire at Grenfell Tower in London. We appreciate you taking the time to write to our Association and for your expression of support to fire fighters in the United Kingdom and specifically in London.
I was particularly interested to note your intention to build a home for retired firefighters and I wish you every success as I think it is a worthy aim. Funding such a project cannot be easy so again I send good wishes and hope you achieve your aim.
On behalf of all members of the National Association of Retired Firefighters I send our good wishes to you all and again thank you for your kind and considerate email.
